We've made peace with this. Our sofa blankets are soft enough that dogs and cats go straight for it — which is exactly what you want, because it means they're on the blanket and not on the sofa underneath.

Color is true to description and pictures. The size is nice a big providing lots of coverage. Weighted enough that my Basset hound doesn't bury himself under it. I'm very impressed with the quality.
These are great but I have about 5 photos to share. We have 2 new 94" manual recliner sofas. Most seat covers for recliners are made in separate pieces for each seat, and back.

It's sized to tuck in, so it stays put better than a throw. It has no grip backing, so it holds best on fabric sofas with the edges tucked behind the cushions. On leather it will shift more. Measure arm to arm for the width, then the top of the back down to the front of the seat for the depth. Pick the size that covers both, with a little extra to tuck in. Depth is the one people miss, so when in doubt, size up.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or lay it flat to air dry. No hot water, no high heat.
